Albariño is a Spanish white grape varietal predominantly grown in Spain and Portugal. It is refreshing and highly aromatic with a food friendly reputation. Although this wine is from grapes grown in the Ancient Lakes of the Columbia Valley, it is true to these traits. This albariño is bursting with aromas of apple blossoms, pear and citrus nuances. With just a slight sweetness on the front end of the palate, it is impressively elegant with bright fruit flavors of peach, pineapple and tropical fruit all backed by a wonderfully balanced acidity and a light hint of spritz on the finish. Enjoy this Northwest rendering of a Spanish classic with your favorite appetizer, shellfish and grilled fish. 133 cases produced.
