
Gabriel’s Horn 2023
Vineyard: Arianses, Elephant Mountain, Rosebud, Scooteney Flats and Wautoma Springs Vineyards
AVA: Columbia Valley
Blend: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Syrah and 9% Petit Verdot
Vinification: Cabernet, Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes were picked and aged separately. Both wines were fermented in small open top stainless-steel tanks. The fermentation was hand mixed 2 times per day and pressed off the skins between 7 to 10 days.
Cooperage: 16 months in French oak puncheons and French oak barriques.

Winemaker’s Notes: The aroma is concentrated, offering notes of cherry, plum, blackberries, and a violet. This full-bodied wine features firm yet well-integrated tannins that frame a juicy core of ripe black fruit. It is a youthful wine that is enjoyable now but will continue to develop beautifully with bottle age.
